For those who love a family dinner or simple love chicken, the weekly whole chicken CSA is for you.
This is 27 whole chickens over the course of our growing season. This saves you money compared to buying a whole chicken each week at market as you pay up front to help us cover initial start of season costs and secure your chickens for the year.
Ellington or On-Farm CSA Pick Up-
The bi-weekly whole chicken CSA subscription allows you to purchase a share of 27 chickens throughout our growing season from the beginning of May 9th through the end of October 31st. This is a 10% savings compared to buying a whole chicken at every other market.
You should expect to pick up your chicken each week on Saturday's at the Ellington Farmers Market or you the farm.
LEAF CSA Pick Up-
The bi-weekly whole chicken CSA subscription allows you to purchase a share of 27 chickens throughout our growing season from the beginning of May 19th through the end of November 10th. This is a 10% savings compared to buying a whole chicken at every other market.
You should expect to pick up your chicken each week on Tuesday's at Lewis Educational Agricultural Farm (LEAF) in Southington, CT
