Whole birds typically weigh between 4-6 pounds and come with giblets (heart, liver and gizzard) in the bird perfect for gravy or stuffing.
Ellington or On-Farm CSA Pick Up-
The bi-weekly whole chicken CSA subscription allows you to purchase a share of 13 chickens throughout our growing season from the beginning of May 9th through the end of October 31st. This is a 10% savings compared to buying a whole chicken at every other market.
You should expect to pick up your chicken each week on Saturday's at the Ellington Farmers Market or you the farm.
LEAF CSA Pick Up-
The bi-weekly whole chicken CSA subscription allows you to purchase a share of 13 chickens throughout our growing season from the beginning of May 19th through the end of November 10th. This is a 10% savings compared to buying a whole chicken at every other market.
